What motocross boots should i get?

Ok i have a $300 budget and i need to get boots and pants, I ride track and trail so the boots need to have decent protection and be very comfortable. I was looking at alpinestars tech-3's?What motocross boots should i get?
Tech 3's are alright. But heres the tech 8 for 250 in cyclegear. Ive had them for a couple of months now and they are great boots. If anything breaks on them all you have to do is replace that part and you dont have to buy new bootsWhat motocross boots should i get?
Nothiing wrong with Alpiinestar boots although if you can try them on to make sure you are buying the right size. Have not purchased the tech 3's but I know my son really likes the tech 10's and has a number of pairs. Usually you can get them resoled or at least I know you can get the tech 10's redone as long as you don't let them wear the whole way through so that can be a saving as having a pair of boots resoled is much cheaper than having to buy again so ask where you purchase if they offer this service.What motocross boots should i get?
I bought the Tech 3's for my nephew since his foot is still growing pretty fast. They have held up great and seem to be very good boots. I use the 10's myself and I am a huge fan of Alpinestar boots.
