What is the best motocross boot?

I was thinking about the 09 thor quadrant boots or 2008 GAERNE GX-1 BOOTS or gaerne fastback boots. Has anybody used them? I like ALPINESTARS but cant find them that cheap, do you know anywhere where i can pick them up cheap?What is the best motocross boot?
Go along to a motorbike dealership and try some of the boots on and see what you find comfortable. My sons wear the Alpine star tech 10's and they are a very comfortable boot but you are right in that they are expensive. The good thing about them is that you can get the soles replaced if you wear them down and we have just had a pair done and the cost was $90 which is a lot better than a new pair of boots. The tech 8's are slightly cheaper so you could look at them. But go try some on and see what you find comfortable.
Yeah i know what you mean by you cant find them cheap...i personally like the Alpinestar tech 8's...its what i got and i got them for a good price but really if you want to get them cheap look for second hand ones of ebay or somthing like that...i got mine second hand and they do the job and do it well.....



IF you get brand new ones and scratch it you'll be un happy....we'll put it that way but if you buy second hand ones that are semi scratched and worn in you wont be as annoyed...but anyway that my theory

GX-1s are awesome boots I had them before my ALPINESTARS tech 10s. The Alpinestars Tech 10s are coming out with a newer style soon so you should find some older-style tech 10s for cheaper once the new ones come out.

Get the SG-10 if your looking for a higher performance boot the SG-10 or 12. the GX-1 is a good boot dont get me wrong but the SG-12 is the top of the line right up there with the Alpinestars tech 10.

are very safe companies that want to protect YOU. These companies are the best in the industry... as for thor.. well they make awesome gear but boots... ehhh.

Your probably not going to find alpinestars cheap. I have Tech 7's and i love them. Their worth the price. as far as the gx-1 their really nice too.
I own a pair of ALPINESTARS.. they have saved my foot from bein crushed and are very comfortable and durable. You cant go wrong with Alpinestars!!!

i have some that are from the 1990s and they are still comfotable

they last long and are just perfect
