I can't find job and someone scolded me that i don't apply at fast food because they hire. Why?

I can't find a job. I have bachelor of science in mathematics. Some people scolded me that i don't apply for low pay job like fast food, if i want job. Okay, so the $40,000 spent on the bachelor degree is for fast food job? Anyhow, I listened to these people's advice. They also said not to mention on application i have bachelor degree. I did as they stated. I applied burger king, taco bell, ihop, and mcdonalds. I get no response. Then these people said call them and find out why they haven't responded. I called and they said, "no phone calls for jobs" and hung up. Then these people said to write a letter to them asking them status of application. I did that and get no response. Then these people said, to send letter again using "certified mail". Again nothing happened. Now these people say to go into these fastfood location and speak to manager. I went there and manager said, "i told you on phone, don't ask questions. you don't get it? if you are not coming here to eat than don't bother coming" Now these people say to complain against manager. I finally decided i've had it enough and verbally abused these people and told them to get lost. did i do the right thing?I can't find job and someone scolded me that i don't apply at fast food because they hire. Well I can tell you this, if you live in Texas , where I do, you can forget a fast food job. The illegal scum with phony credentials have those jobs. There's a token white or black at some places, but that's for appearances. Truth is, you WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED a fast-food job, if it was not your parents or the taxpayers (or both) subsidizing you, while you are looking for something better...



That's the point of your critics, who resent the fact, that the taxpayers' assistance (with the monies collected at gun-point -- by the IRS) is spent on people, who are not, in fact STARVING, but merely wish to find a more suitable (or "dignified") job.



You don't have to take such a job, but -- as long as I'm forced by the wealth-spreaders to support you -- I'll continue looking down at you...
