Better to look at one with full armour that fits best, try it on with your helmet and gloves, check you have full mobility without it being too loose. Possibly with a sweater on too, I have a Frank Thomas that has two alternative zips which is ideal because it allows you to wear thicker layers in the winter and look for ventilation for summer.Whats the best brand for a motorcycle jacket?

I used a SPIDI with a removable rain jacket lining 27,000 kilometers from Istanbul, Turkey to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2003. The jacket survived 3 falls in the Gobi desert of China, one minor accident with a car in Pakistan, run over by a herd of sheep in Iran ( without me in it ) and more than 15 falls in the monsoon mud of Laos.

I am still wearing this jacket.
