Just like how everyone said there is no real definate answer. it really is down to personal preference and how much money you are willing to spend. At the end of the day they are botch going to do pretty much the same thing so just buy the one you can afford and whatever looks good and your happy with it
Give the poor guy a break..He has a problem deciding between the two and hence posted this.He already feels both are equally good and hence the question.Having used both Astars and Dainese for long, would admit both are good overall.However, just feel the Dainese quality and fit is 2 notches higher.

DAINESE vs ALPINESTARS?I don't think there is a better of the two -
As said by Mr Proc - it's really down to personal
choice - I'd be inclined to try on a few of each
and base my choice on the one most liked that
also suits your budget -
Dainese is definitely better but Alpinestars still has good quality products. Dainese is a little bit more expensive though.DAINESE vs ALPINESTARS?

DAINESE all the way ive worn both and Dainese always fits betters
