What's a better first job- Jamba Juice or IHOP?

Well im 16 years old, and am applying for my first official job.



I'm wondering which location would be a better first job. I'm thinkin that at Ihop i will make more money(with tips), but at jamba juice(i will have a funner experience)...I really need to make money to support me and my single father, but idk which one i should work at. Help me out with suggestions, and or experiences youve had working these locations..:)

Personal opinion, work at Jamba Juice for a few months to gain the experience then go for full on serving at IHOP. It will teach you a few things about work in general, as well as customer service, working with money, taking orders, etc. Not to mention that Jamba will probably be more flexible with your schedule.What's a better first job- Jamba Juice or IHOP?
I would apply at both however if you get job offers a both go with IHOP they offer more money and tips. Because this is your first job and I presume your still in high school it means you don't pay taxes. And a lesson for the future jobs are all about the income.
Jamba Juice will probably be easier and also really fun. Get a friend to do it with you, or meet new people. No matter what it will be easier than IHOP and also really nice pay. You should apply for both jobs and see what they offer you in the interview. I think Jamba would probably be more fun for you, and provide good background training as well. But you never know til you go talk to them. Good luck!
