Is it legal for me to use my cb radio on channels 9 and 19?

I have a cb radio and someone I know said it's against the law to communicate with truckers on channels 9 or 19 any thoughts? Is it legal for me to use my cb radio on channels 9 and 19?
Channel 9 is designated for emergencies only but 19 is open to anyone who wants to use it, it would not be illegal for you to use either if you follow proper protocol.{}Is it legal for me to use my cb radio on channels 9 and 19?
In the US, anyone can use a CB radio. No license required in the US. You can use any channel you want. Channel 9 should only be used for emergencies and channel 19 is typically a common channel for truckers and other vehicles to communicate on the road.

You can talk to all the truckers you want to, assuming they want to talk back!

Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 47 Part 95, sometimes just called FCC Part 95 covers the use of CB radio as well as a few other services. Is it legal for me to use my cb radio on channels 9 and 19?
