i recently bought an acura rsx automatic now regretting i shouldve just got a stick shift. theres nothing i could do about it since im paying off the car so its too late. i want to know if i could make it as fast as a type-s on a straight away or some what close and with what mods. I dont know much about cars.Could i make my automatic 02 acura rsx run as fast as a type s?
get a good set of wheels and tires with a decent suspension set up, I recommend neuspeed.com, the used to deal with only euro cars but now they deal with honda/acura. reduce your Weight in the rear, cold air intake with exhaust and header with a good tune and you should be smoking a type-s in no time.Could i make my automatic 02 acura rsx run as fast as a type s?
With plenty of aftermarket power-adders you will be able to keep up with "stock" rsx-type-s from the line. From mid-gear you will have hard-time keeping up.
Most rsx type-s cars outthere are modded, so you'll need to be modded even more.
If I were you, I would get NOS, or sell the car and buy something with more potential (with manual transmission of course).
