How much faster can i make my 02 automatic acura rsx?

how much faster can i make my rsx automatic without messing up my engine since its automatic i know it cant handle as much power as a stick shift can. so how fast can i make it where it wont do any harm to my engine? like can i put a cold air intake? headers? exhaust?

You can add a cold air intake, headers and a cat-back exhaust system to add about 25+ hp to your RSX. This blog has it all in detail.. I'm not sure what Hanks saying, there's only one set of headers on an inline 4 cylinder so how can you not see them? You are right about a normal automatic transmission not being able to handle more power. You can update the exhaust and air intake system.You can actually upgrade the suspension parts and install high performance dampers and maybe do a ride height lowering.



The RSX's gearbox has been linked to some synchro problems (don't remember whether it was the 6 speed manual or the auto) but you can increase the power output to 215BHP according to me without having any serious problem.polishing and porting headers , bigger intake and exhaust manifolds , would do the trick but remember to change the ECU settings once you are done upgrading.How much faster can i make my 02 automatic acura rsx?

I love it when people say "headers" for a 4 cylinder vehicle...the second header is invisible and made of unicorn tears and dragon tampons.
