I wouldn't get any of them.
They're all the same garbage car that's been rebadged with different names.
If your buying an Acura, you're buying a POS Honda.
acura integra type r then there was civic si, si is faster than integra but hair slower than r, then they made Rsx s and base faster than si but same for base then si so they made 06 Si with same S but faster than base so rsx was gone, get any but you can get si for light, or rsx for luxury

Should I get 2006 Acura RSX Type-S or 2011 Honda Civic SI coupe?Neither: one's too new, one's too old.
Buying a new vehicle will cost you about 25% of its value to new-car depreciation over the first 3 yrs.
Buying an 06 means it's out of the age range where you can get a Factory Bumper to Bumper Warranty.
Look for a 2-3 yr old creampuff, lo mi, eligible for the Factory Warranty.
Call about 3 Honda finance managers @ dealerships. If Honda is like Toyota, they wont be well informed on warranty details, so dont trust only one. You may have to call finance headquarters.
Well one thing i like about acura is that, compared to the other luxury makes, it probably has the closest costs to its father make which would be honda. One thing i noticed when searching for a car is that hondas have a lot of features standard that oher makes like chevy or toyota dont have. I had a honda odyssey and just got a new honda pilot and i love it. What im trying to say is that sometimes honda is as good as a luxury company, but with lower prices. The deciding factor for me would be the look of the car and i would choose the acura. but it really depends, if you like the way they both look get the one you think you will still like in 3 years... or 5 years... or 10 years. good luck.Should I get 2006 Acura RSX Type-S or 2011 Honda Civic SI coupe?
both cars are very similar, but the Si has a little more room. the maintenance costs are also about the same as well. personally, i'd go for the RSX considering that it's probably less expensive and the insurance costs will definitely be cheaper. but both are really good cars and will last for decades., especially if you get the 6-speed version.
*contrary to what the second answerer said, the RSX is on an entirely different platform with a much more rigid unibody and lower curb weight to allow for much better handling than the Civic. they're two completely different models, although the RSX is still sold as a Honda in other countries that don't feature the Acura brand.
i have an 02 RSX, good car, hatchback is very useful, car is zippy but i am sure the Type-S is
quite fast, the RSX seems to have a few interior rattles, also when you change the oil, it drips
into the frame and its hard to get out, so you see some spotting for a week or so after,
The RSX should be a cheaper buy, i think they are a genuine value, mine has been very cheap
to maintain and really easy car to live with.
I would get the civic Si coupe, although you see lots of slow civics out there pretending to be fast (coffee can exhaust, stickers), the civic Si coupe is actually a sports car, its very quick especially if you get a manual, and VTEC allows it to use less fuel at lower RPMs.
Acura
Civic is the car you want.
