Its a great car, Honda makes Acura. I have a lot of experience working with these amazing motors and cars, just change the oil and you will be good for hundreds of thousands of miles.
Just change oil and do other scheduled maintenances and your RSX will last forever! I know an 03 RSX owner that has 210k on his ODmeter and he's never had any issues with it. It still runs smooth and strong with flawless shifting!Acura RSX?
according to consumer reports avoid the 2006 rsx-not reliable but the other years are.
Hondas and Acuras are usually pretty good cars. I been working for an import auto parts store for about 7 years and I don't get many costomers with problems on that car. Just the usual wear parts like brakes and plugs.Acura RSX?
It's a great car - Solid, fun-to-drive, comfortable, with classic Acura reliability. I've had mine since 2002, and have 112,000 miles. I've only had a handful of minor problems:
* The door lock actuator went on the drivers side, but was replaced under warranty
* Slight rattle from the sunroom that was ultimately fixed.
Otherwise a great car... Just be sure to stick to regular oil changes and the motor will last forever. Mine is the automatic transmission, and the SportShift is so much fun. This is my 4th Acura, and certainly not my last (I also have a TSX). Go for it!
This is one fabulous piece of car. No problems with the engine, body, chassis, suspension, interior, electronics. The only issue known is with the transmission - the 2nd gear grind and the 3rd gear pop-out (S only). Synchro mesh gear oil resolves the problem.
Get your oil changes done regularly and you won't have any problems at all. You don't even require synthetic.
the rsx are great cars and are very reliable. i took mine for two major road trips and it never gave me any problems!
It IS a great car.
I'm getting one ths week ^_^
You can't go wrong with an Acura/Honda product. Just make sure you have the car checked-up with the regularly scheduled maintenance. If you treat it right, it will do the same for you.
Love the RSX as long as you are buying the Type S. Worth money and great sound car.
I own a 2002 RSX-S...one problem since 2001 when I got it..the ac died...thats it...(it's on it's 3rd set of tires...first set was OEM and one blew due to a bad tread...second was worn out. I like sticky tires..)
I agree with the person above. This car is excellent and willl serve you many years!!!
yeah jap cars are more reliable than american cars but speed wise without tuneing it its average speed gets you from point a to b.
