Acura RSX?

Do you like how it looks?

Does it get good gas mileage?

Is it more for chicks or guys?

Good engine?

The more you tell me about it the better!Acura RSX?
Do you like how it looks? I love how it looks. Keep in mind that 02-04 models look different from an 05-06 model and have a different engine. There is a base (5 speed auto or manual) model and a type S (6 speed manual only) and they have different engines as well delivering 155hp (base), 191hp (02-04 type S) and 201hp (05-06 type S).

Does it get good gas mileage? My current 05 type S gets much better mileage than my previous 02 base automatic model by quite a bit. Note that the type S requires premium gas. If you drive either model conservatively you'll get 30+ mpg. I get around 34mpg.

Is it more for chicks or guys? That's totally up to perception. There was a poll on clubRSX about this and the unanimous decision was that's all in the eyes of the beholder. Yes a lot of girls do drive the RSX but the type S is generally driven by men in late teens to late 20s.

Good engine? One of the best engines ever that delivers 100+hp/liter. It's also reliable and cheap to maintain in its stock form.
the Acura RSX is a pretty good car but quite expensive since it is semi-luxury sport car. It is just hype-up version of a honda civic. Honda decided to stop producing the RSX and focus on the civic SI. If you ever going to buy that car, buy it in blue because it looks great.Acura RSX?
It's one of the best sport coupes on the road.
Looks - Not really.

Gas Mileage - Does okay. (24/31) 26 mpg overall

Chick or Guy car - Probably more a chick car then the Integra, which it replaced. Didn't have nearly the following that the Integra did.

Good Engine - Sure. Definitely one of the strong points of the car.Acura RSX?
looks good, excellent performance, certainly for guys, the engine? it's a Honda...it will run forever! The only con about it that it doesn't use the double wishbone suspension as the rest of the Honda lineup. Since it's based on the Civic, it's a cost saving measure. But the RSX is a great car. it's won many races.
Great car. Have driven it.

Great gas mileage.

Regular RSX gets 34mpg highway with 160HP.

0-60mph in 7.1 seconds.

RSX Type S: 200-210HP 4 cylinder engine.

0-60mph in 6.7 seconds. Top Speed is 146mph.

Honda makes most reliable cars in the world. Honda makes Acura.

Acura engines are vtec. High revving engines that can handle lots of beatings.

This car is more for guys with more than 75% of buyers being male.
I've loved it since I first saw it and bought it.

28 mpg (more or less....)

it's a person car...who cares who drives what..(get a grip and grow up)

great engine...

I've had only one problem in 7 yrs..the ac died and I had to have it replaced...I'm the first buyer of an RSX-S here in n.w.FL...I'm keeping the car no matter what. (because they stopped production, it's gonna be a collectors car one day...) I keep fresh oil in it and new tires on. (it's on it's 3rd set in 61,000...the OEM's fell apart, the tread fell off...these last two sets are performance tires from Bridgestone, great in the water and for cornering.)
love the look of the rsx especially 02%26amp;05. its a honda product so it gets more then 20mpg.

for guys or girs...both. iv seen lots of males and females drive it. one chick had it totaly tricked out. (women are finding race cars just as interisteing as us)

it has a honda engine so its deff. reliable.
The look is like no other! Gas mileage is great with the VTEC engine! Mostly a guy car being that most are standard transmission. The engine is remarkable and superb, nothing adds up to a Honda engine now days. The Vtec engine growls through all 6 gears (type-s). If you you buy one, go with the 2005-2006 Type-S. There were many changes from 2004-2005 that makes the RSX a unique buy!
Do you like how it looks?

-I love how it looks especially the 2005-2006 model year, and if you get a Type-R spoiler on it, it will look sweet.

Does it get good gas mileage?

-My RSX gets about 24/31 mpg (base) 20/28 mpg (type-S, this is due to the higher HP). but if you put a SRI Intake in it, will easily do over 29/36 mpg (base, and slightly lower for the Type-S, but very close) if you drive efficiently.

Is it chick or guy?

-it is defiently a guy car, especially for those tuners guys, i rarely see girls driving this car.

Good Engine?

-it has a DOHC i-VTEC engine that puts out 155 hp on the base, and 201 on the Type-S (2006 model), this type of engine gives the effect of easily keeping the car up in the higher rpms(where the engine is at its best) and give the car a wider powerband. Base model comes with a 5-speed manual or automatic sequential shifter, and the Type-S is a close-ratio 6 speed manuel only.

Overall this is an awesome car for tuners, and it looks great.
Yes I like how it looks.

I average between 31.7 and 33.4 MPG in mine. (80% higway driving)

It's a chick car

The engine is good, but it lacks low end power.

The only problem I have with mine is whenever it rains heavily and my car is outside it makes a loud knocking noise at the front passenger side.when I'm driving. It stops after about 7 miles if I have to brake for a stop sign/light. But not before 7 miles. Acura can't figure out what the problem is and it's driving me crazy.

I currently lease a 2006 (the last year they made them)
