How much would it cost to replace the motor and transmission in an Acura Rsx?

I would recommend buying the same engine block from japan cause its cheaper buying directly from there. Reason why is the japan doesnt have the smog regulation like the U.S. would so they have to change out their entire engine after 30,000miles. The block should cost you from $1500-$2500. Then just have a mechanic use all your add ons like a/c, power steering pump, radiator ect. if they are still in good condition from your old engine.

As far as your transmission, if it was changing gears before then just have a mechanic eyeball the clutch for any wears before he installs the new engine and you should be able to save alot of money that way using all original partsHow much would it cost to replace the motor and transmission in an Acura Rsx?
