My little brother bought a Acura RSX Automatic, is there anyway he can beef up the transmission for upgrades?

It is an 2002 RSX with sport shift transmission. It is a really nice looking car and bith of us are pretty new into the import world... looking for some guidance not criticismMy little brother bought a Acura RSX Automatic, is there anyway he can beef up the transmission for upgrades?
You are not going to need to worry about transmission strength unless you are putting some serious horsepower into the car. I would guess that transmission would be fine until at least 250hp. With the money it would cost to get the car to that point you would be better off buying a standard. If you want to play around with the car you can put in a full exhaust and intake and maybe fuel rail, intake manifold, pulleys, etc and get a few more horsepower, much better response, and not have to worry about the transmission. Just make sure you do a transmission flush every 60,000 miles. My little brother bought a Acura RSX Automatic, is there anyway he can beef up the transmission for upgrades?
what exactly are you gonna with an automatic RSX? if anything you should do an auto to manual conversion or buy one thats already a manual. you can email if you have any questions or something

well if your looking into some good horsepower and staying automatic one option would be to cryotreat the parts.
