I would also like to know how that RSX drives. Does it have fast accleration? Hows the suspention? Is it confortable? Is there enouph room for people in the backset?Anyone know anything about an 2002 automatic transmision Acura RSX and if they are reliable?
The backseat is for kids. It will run forever but it's as slow as a Civic.Anyone know anything about an 2002 automatic transmision Acura RSX and if they are reliable?
Go test drive one. It will answer any questions you have better than anyone else can tell you because everything is based on personal opinion.
In my opinion, automatic base model RSX's are not that fast, but are about even for the segment (focus's, neons, cobalts, civic si's, etc). The suspension is better than the rest of the segment but still not superb. The back seat is tiny and will only fit short people/kids comfortably. As far as reliability, its a Honda/Acura so it will be pretty reliable compared to most other cars in its class.Anyone know anything about an 2002 automatic transmision Acura RSX and if they are reliable?
Having an automatic transmission doesn't give the best acceleration but will and should last a long time (if you drive it like you should). The base version is very comfortable but the back seat is something else. It's got enough head room for a 6' person but leg room would depend on the person sitting in front.
An Acura, overall, is very reliable.
The base RSX (155hp) has more horsepower than the civic, focus. the acceleration is decent. it is comparable to the carolla XRS. the suspension give a okay ride it will feel like driving a 2 door civic. the back seats are large but no leg room. If you really want to learn more about the RSX look around on clubrsx.com.
FYI. the base RSX has the Same engine as the Civic SI from 2000. they just turned it into an automatic for the base RSX.
